Pola is in closed beta
Pola is not in the stores yet. Before the public launch a small group of parents uses the app every day and tells us what breaks. If you want to be one of them, here is how to join.
You get the app exactly as it will ship — nothing added for testers, nothing held back. Testing is free and you can stop whenever you want.
iPhone and iPad — TestFlight
Testing on Apple devices runs through TestFlight, and for now we add testers by hand. Write to us from the address tied to your Apple ID and we will send you an invitation.
Android — Google Play
1. Join the tester group
Google Play shows the test version only to people on the tester list, and that list is an open Google Group. Anyone can join, and joining takes one click.
2. Confirm that you want the test version
We send you the opt-in link once you have joined the group — it comes from the Play Console and we cannot publish it here.
3. Install Pola from Google Play
From then on Pola installs like any other app and updates arrive the same way. Use the same Google account you joined the group with.
What we ask of you
- Use Pola for real, for a couple of weeks, with your own child. A few taps on an empty account tells us nothing.
- When something breaks, tell us from the app: Settings → Contact. That message carries the app version, your device model and your system version, so we can reproduce the problem.
- You can always write straight to hello@pola.baby instead.
- Never send us journal data. To fix a bug we do not need your child’s name, your entries or your photos, and we will never ask for them.
- No review is expected. We will not ask you to rate Pola in the store, and whether you do changes nothing for you.
- You can leave whenever you want — leave the group, opt out in Google Play, or stop testing in TestFlight. Nothing is deleted: your account and your journal stay exactly as they are, and deleting them is your own choice in the app.
Your data during the beta
The test version handles your data exactly like the released app — same servers, same rules, nothing extra collected because you are testing.Privacy Policy
